According to Yahoo!, the collaboration adds Latin Interactive's local online advertising portfolio to the online graphic inventory.
Both companies said they will combine efforts to promote online and mobile advertising sales in the region.
Yahoo! said the area's Internet advertising market is maturing, as local businesses are shifting a more significant portion of their advertising budgets to online, as they seek to increase the effectiveness of their campaigns.
He also said that advertisers will take advantage of Latin Interactive Group's combination of interactive advertising campaigns on online and mobile platforms, and the company's ability to connect with its audience.
The Guatemalan company said that local businesses have traditionally focused their advertising efforts on search marketing.
Now there would be new opportunities for them to extend their presence through online display advertising that is interactive and selectively targeted.
