The same lands in Guatemala, in partnership with Latin Interactive Group, for the sale of advertising in the markets of El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama.
Yahoo! Latin America will offer the possibility for advertisers in the region to connect with the audience of this latter. The commercial representation agreement between Latin Interactive Group and Yahoo! was signed months ago and adds Yahoo!'s graphic inventory to the Guatemalan company's Intet advertising portfolio.
The General Manager of Yahoo! Hispanic Americas, Armando Rodriguez, explained that both companies will coordinate efforts to promote the sale of online advertising and added that, through the Yahoo! network, businesses that have a presence in several countries will be able to run campaigns in one or more Central American markets, which will allow them to consolidate and amplify their advertising purchases.
For his part, Gustavo Ortiz, president of Latin Interactive Group, said that the strategic partnership 'offers them access to the world's leading expert in digital advertising, a large user population and the powerful Yahoo! brand'. The official launch of this strategic alliance is scheduled for Thursday, September 23.
